I love the intinerary and laughed out loud at the Corgi Trail. I look forward to the chocolate cookie recipe and even the lemon one. Have often wondered about lemon cookies.

And once again, I do love your cover designs - Australian designer?

Thanks Prue. Yes, my cover designer is Australian - Louisa West. She has a group on Facebook - Covered Up - Book Cover Design and has done all my covers.

Thank you. Mine's in the UK but I'd love an Australian one.

Hi, Jo - Your UK trip is coming fast. I love that your mom named all of her dogs after places in Wales. How cool is that?!

Your Op Shop colleagues are very, very lucky.

Hope your travels will make the writing easier for all of your upcoming projects. Maybe you just need a change of pace and scenery. We stepped away from daily writing over the holidays and can't seem to get back to it. I am doing writing exercises but that isn't the same thing.

The Alchemist has been on my to read list for some time. Need to get about a half dozen books finished up so I can start something new. Reading God of the Woods and Christmas with the Queen right now. And assorted other things.

Thanks Leslie. I really struggled with structure last year (in my first year away from a corporate job), so hopeful of returning inspired. While writing exercises might not be the same thing, it is still writing and that's good.

Oooh very exciting that you will be off travelling in six weeks. I hope you have a fantastic time. I love the Corgi names - a great idea as much more individual than the usual dog names. Very excited for the next Philly

Love the feeling of having completed the spreadsheet for another wonderful adventure. How long will you be away?

That sounds like such a fun trip! A corgi trail is a wonderful idea! In 6 weeks there should be daffodils but maybe not wild garlic (but that's different every year).

I got inspired to travel now, your research about places to eat and see etc sounds like so much fun. I never really do research like that because we only go to Italy and we know most places in that area and go with the flow for the rest. But it's time we do some more local travelling too.

Sounds like you are going to pack a lot into your trip to the UK! If you Gert a chance in Edinburgh, and the weather is OK (not guaranteed!), the walk along the Water of Leith from Leith to the Modern Art Gallery is worth a thought. Or just the Dean Village for something a bit different to the rest of the city.

Thanks Barbara. Great suggestions. We won't bother with the castle this trip so something a little different would be great.

Jo you UK trip sounds more than amazing. I wonder if you’ll be visiting my One Place Study, Haverfordwest, though it doesn’t sound like a name to call a corgi. I’ve said it before but I’m looking forward to Philly. Have it ordered and slotted into the 52 book challenge

But no, it's not a name to call a corgi lol

I reckon we'll probably be going through it ... we're staying 4 nights in Tenby to look around Pembrokeshire and then heading up the coast. It looks as though Haverford West would be on that route...

It's not too far from Tenby and St. Davids. I'm feeling quite envious Jo. I've been thee once about twenty years ago, but just for an overnight stop on a bike ride around Wales with my dauighter.

We were last in Tenby in 1995! And it was just an overnighter. The years have flown.
